Meet the Staff
Heather Torris
PT, DPT, OCS Owner/Physical Therapist
Since 2006, Dr. Torris, PT has been helping patients with orthopedic problems, sports injuries, movements dysfunction, TMJ & vestibular disorders. She earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Kinesiology from The Pennsylvania State University and her Doctor of Physical Therapy Degree from The University of Pittsburgh. Heather is a board-certified specialist in orthopaedic physical therapy with the American Physical Therapy Association. Heather has continued her education in areas of advanced sports medicine, orthopaedic courses and manual therapy courses for the shoulder, cervical and lumbar spine, as well as speed and agility training. Heather has extensive experience with evaluation and treatment of the swimmer’s shoulder and tempromandibular joint. Heather enjoys using her knowledge to help people of all ages maintain an active lifestyle and safely return to desired activities. In her free time, Heather enjoys reading, going to concerts, staying active and spending time with family and friends.
Nicole has over 8 years of clinical experience in physical therapy formerly as a Physical Therapist Assistant and now as a Physical Therapist. Nicole received a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science Education from The Ohio State University in 2015 and then received an Associate of Science degree for Physical Therapist Assistant from CCAC in 2018. She graduated from the University of Pittsburgh’s Doctor of Physical Therapy program in December of 2025.
In addition to her education, Nicole has also held an ACSM Personal Trainer certification since 2017.
Her focus as a PT is to help patients recover from injury in an efficient and effective manner so that they can live a long and healthy life. As a personal trainer, she provides individualized fitness programs with one-on-one instruction and education with the goal of optimizing her clients’ overall health and wellbeing.
Nicole is native of South Fayette Township. In her free time, she enjoys running, being active outdoors, traveling, and spending time with family and friends. She is also the 2022 Pittsburgh Marathon Champion.

Our very own PT Pup! Ellie is our Ridgeview mascot who will bring a smile to your face as soon as you come through the door. She is only here part time though. She has been working here since 2022 and is happy to share her love with new friends. Her favorite pastime is waiting to greet the next person that comes through the door. She loves hanging out in the waiting area getting attention from her new friends.
